LIBE
The Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) is the lead committee for the data protection reform package. It will be in charge of developing the European Parliament’s position on the proposals, taking the opinions of the other committees into account.
The rapporteur for the LIBE Committe is Jan Philipp Albrecht (Verts/ALE), the shadow rapporteurs are Axel Voss (EPP), Dimitrios Droutsas (S&D), Alexander Alvaro (ALDE), Timothy Kirkhope (ECR), and Cornelia Ernst (GUE/NGL).
